Dr Joanna Romanowska is a Cosmetic Physician with over 18 years’ experience in Cosmetic Medicine. She is highly regarded for her commitment to patient care and her proficiency, especially in delivering natural-looking results.

Polish born, South Africa raised and now New Zealand domiciled Dr Joanna Romanowska is an internationally recognised, and highly regarded, medical practitioner and cosmetic physician.
With nearly two decades of experience in the field of Cosmetic Medicine she is known as a pioneer, innovator and expert in this expanding area of practice.
As one of the founders of the country’s pre-eminent practices Clinic 42 Joanna is highly regarded for her commitment to patient care and her proficiency, especially in delivering natural-looking results.
With her considerable experience in injectable procedures she is well placed to extend her practice to the field of stem cell therapy. Her focus is on advancing access and quality care in this area of regenerative medicine in order to help people suffering from a variety of inflammatory and degenerative conditions.

Joanna is Founding Director of Clinic42, Auckland, New Zealand. She is a Fellow of the NZ College of General Practitioners and a Member of the Society of Cosmetic Medicine (NZSCM). She became an Executive Officer of NZSCM in 2010 and currently holds the position of Censor after 5 years as Education Officer. Her career to date has seen her establish practices in many parts of the world with a primary focus on improving the health standards of patients coming under her care. Joanna helped develop the New Zealand training scheme for Cosmetic Medicine which is now internationally recognized . This Training Programme helped have NZSCM registered by the New Zealand Medical Council as the first such organization to be registered by any Medical Council in the world. Joanna is also sought after by providers of new technologies; products and procedures for advice, product application; and technical knowledge. She is an affiliated provider for major health care group Southern Cross for the treatment of varicose veins via endo-venous Laser therapy and sclerotherapy under ultrasound guidance. Having considerable experience with injectable procedures Joanna is now active in the field of stem cell therapy to deploy this innovative patient treatment, for a range of indications. She has aligned herself with the Cell Surgical Network group reassured by their track record, FDA approved equipment, Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved protocols and ongoing international clinical audit .

Michelle is a Registered Nurse who specialises in Stem Cell procedures.

After graduating as a Registered Nurse from Northland Polytechnic in 1991, Michelle passed the NCLEX -RN exams and took a position in the USA, where she furthered her training and became a critical care nurse. Michelle practiced in the US for 16 years spending the last 10 years in California working in the Emergency Department.

Upon her return to New Zealand, after a short break from nursing, Michelle started working in Cosmetic medicine. In 2014 she became involved in the use of ‘Stem Cells’ for various medical conditions, and undertook training in the processing of SVF with Cell Surgical Network in California.

Michelle has witnessed many life changing improvements of patients who have undergone Stem Cell Therapy, and is very excited to practice this treatment at Clinic 42.
